Introducing our Soccer Team

Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard to provide soccer uniforms and equipment, driven by the incredible love the kids in Namavundu village have for the sport. We’re thrilled to announce that we have officially established our very own soccer team! This initiative not only brings the community together but also provides the kids with a fun and engaging way to stay active. We’re excited to watch them grow, both on and off the field, and are eager to see what the future holds for our team. Stay tuned for updates on their progress!

Soccer & Pads Outreach in Namavundu Village

In July, Footprint of Uganda launched a soccer balls and pads outreach program, bringing together 90 participants from various age groups. The girls and women received a box of pads each, ensuring their comfort and confidence, while the boys enjoyed playing soccer with their new soccer balls.

We are excited to announce the formation of a new soccer team and look forward to sponsoring and supporting their journey to success.

School Supplies Outreach in Namavundu Village

In May, Footprint of Uganda initiated a school supply outreach program, anticipating 50 students but delightfully welcomed over 130, spanning various age groups. Older students received four notebooks each, while younger ones received two. Additionally, they were provided with essential school supplies like pencils and pens. Expressing gratitude, lollipops were given to the attendees, adding a sweet touch to their educational journey.

Hygiene Outreach in Bugaya Village

We organized a dental hygiene program for 50 kids, where we set out to educate kids on proper Hygiene. During the event in April 2024, we provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hygiene education for children in Bugaya village. The program was so successful that we could have double our effort. Please consider donating to our general fund to support further outreach efforts like this. See the pictures of the event below.
